this is a direct quote from my lesson:
"Research has shown that drivers are at a much higher risk for being in an accident within a few minutes of using a cellular phone. Surprisingly, it appears that it is the emotional impact of the phone conversation, not the act of talking per se, that results in increased accident risk."
basically, the new bluetooth law they made is just to make money for the state.
the "both hands on the wheel" argument is no more than an excuse to get 80 bucks out of you.

yeah, but we already knew that they were trying to scam us when they first told us about the law. i hate this. they should spend their time fixing our roads and doing other things that we need rather than waste it making up stupid and gross laws. such as the bluetooth law and the gay-marriage law. people are idiots.
you know what's even better? we can text while we get our emotions up too. But hey, what's a stupid law to protect thousands of lives taken, because an idiot did reach down and pick up their phone? Who needs that right? Even though, ya know, talking on (or texting on) on the phone is just as distracting as being drunk. If people that into consideration there would be a heck of a lot more DUI's, driving under idiocy.
well, that's my rant. But remember that Christ calls us to obey and respect the law, because the Lord works in "the kings' hearts" and when you rebell against government, you rebel against the God who put it in place for His purposes, what ever they are. But a buttload of times, I'd like God to fill me in on whatever the heck He's doing, but I guess there'd be no need for faith then, would there?
