so i normally don't care about what people say about me.
i just wish they'd be more creative.
or at least make sure i can't hear them when they say it.
it bothers me when two people i barely ever talk to call me a "butt-face."
back to what i said about being creative.
there are so many things they could have said that would have made them sound so much more mature...
then again, maturity is so hard to find in high school, isn't it?
i wish just once i could have an intelligent conversation with someone without being patronized for it.
it's hard being a true christian in a christian school full of hypocrites.
i used to be hypocritical.
i used to be just like them.
i matured,
but i'm still no better.
and that's something i must remind myself of every day.
actually, every hour of every day.
every minute of every hour of...whatever. you get the point.
i thought the patronization would stop after i left the catholic school.
i thought i fit in pretty well in the christian school.
well, i fit in better than i did at OLPH, but that's really not hard to do.
i was relatively nice to everyone.
leave it to them to find something to make fun of me about, i guess.
whatever. half of them are leaving next year.
i wish it wasn't true,
but i couldn't be happier.
at least not for the time being.
i guess i'll stop ranting now.
God bless!
oh. and don't you dare let 'the man' take you down.

awwww.... sweet Missy girl....
I sorry morons are being morons, but what more do you expect? Just keep striving for the life you want to live in Christ, and if you're doing that as you ought to, you better darn be criticized or "patronized" for it. The Word is offensive and if you're living it out, you're offensive to sin too. But that's what makes up the Christian life: the struggle between our sin and our slavery to Him. (Romans 7). If it helps, I know when I get upset at people, I have to go back and remember where I was just a few years ago, days ago, even hours- because as you said so prompty, we are no better. Their struggle is our struggle too. Maybe read Romans 12 as well. I know those Scriptures will be familar to you, but they always carry the weight of a powerful and difficult message. Dying to self often means realizing that people will be people, but you can't all bitterness or even unrighteous anger envelop your heart: dying to self means denying yourself the luxury of self-pity, even pity as small as two bone-heads hurting your feelings. Pray for them, because they obviously need to die to self too.
Love you, Missy. see you tomorrow morning. yay studying for finals....
can i beat the crud out of those two now? seriously. please??
grrr. you know i could take em both. YOU KNOW I COULD...
you are right next to me right now... haha
oh man.
whatever is going on, im really sorry :(
but i have to say, i definitely agree about the hypocrite part.
even i struggle with it. it gets so easy to just go with the flow at a christian school. but we have to stand strong. be an example for all the other "watered down/sugar coated" christians.
im hoping next year will be better too. :)
ps. ill be praying for you :]
